Zombies hold a significant place in historical folklore. However,  these zombies are not the living dead we're speaking of. Zombies of the silver screen are a monster all to themselves. They spark our most fearful of fantasies and our most wildest dreams of survival. From the safety of our couch, we can imagine how we would handle the total collapse of society. What vital decisions would we make to ensure us another day. Are our survival instincts right or would we be nothing but zombie food. What ethical or unethical choices would we or could we follow through on if push came to shove. We all see ourselves as warriors of the apocalypse, sword and shotgun at hand... but what is the truth? For our sake, may we never find out. And for zombies to stay comfortably in the realm of fiction.
